Stand with San Francisco educators and students: S Stand with San Francisco educators and students: Send a letter to the SFUSD Superintendent and Board of Education NOW.

We need District Management at the table with a real offer that stabilizes our classrooms and schools. The time to act is right now, help us end this strike and get our students back in school where they belong. Link in bio to send your letter.
SFUSD ranks 6 out of 8 neighboring districts for c SFUSD ranks 6 out of 8 neighboring districts for contributions to healthcare. Educators are now paying $1,500 a month for family healthcare. For our paraeducators, these high healthcare costs are 39.5% of their already too-low monthly paycheck--just to insure their families. High healthcare costs and a lack of affordable housing mean less food on the table, the ability to weather a broken-down car, or the ability to contribute to savings. Districts across California have figured out how to fully fund family healthcare. SFUSD can too.

The power of each and every one of you was felt throughout the entire city, from our morning pickets to rallying at Dolores Park, and then onward to Civic Center, where our voices were heard at the bargaining table! We are still at the table and will message out any updates later tonight.
UESF members should attend their Wednesday morning picket lines. After morning pickets, we gather at 12pm at Ocean Beach (1070 Great Highway) to create a giant human banner – thousands will use our bodies to spell a 100 by 300 foot “STRIKE FOR OUR STUDENTS” message on the beach!
