"My name is Raúl and I am here, present to support the teachers' union of the city of San Francisco. The reason I am here is because of the conditions in which the teachers work these days is deplorable. They don't have sufficient resources, or materials to provide to the children, nor do they benefit from the city resources. That's why I'm here. I am here to offer them my support. The thing is that my children went through the public education system in San Francisco and there were enough resources for them to enjoy a good education. It's not the same nowadays. My grandchildren face so many problems with their public schools in this area. And again that is why I'm here, to support them in whatever way I can and give my full support to all the teachers in the city and county of San Francisco."
