On February 27, UESF leaders held a press conference to announce a new report, “Restructure it Right,” unveiling fiscal waste at the SFUSD that costs taxpayers millions of dollars annually and siphons funds from already underfunded classrooms.
By “restructure it right,” the union means that the District should restructure central office staffing expenditures so we are at least on par with the state and central office departments and can shift away from austerity measures toward well-resourced school sites.
