April 29 SPED Rally! Join us at Mcallister & Franklin at the Civic Center Secondary Parking Lot on Mcallister for a picket at 4:30 PM and a rally at 5:30 PM. Let's make it clear to district management that providing exceptional working and learning conditions for special education is essential for the schools our students truly deserve. United Educators of San Francisco joined the event organized by community leaders with @fiabayarea to say “No more kids living in the streets!” and hold city officials accountable for a growing housing crisis especially among immigrant families. We support our @sfunified families in their struggle for the right to housing which we know is so critical to our students wellbeing and academic success. And Director Mcspadden of the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing didn’t show!
