The San Francisco Labor Council, along with other Bay Area Labor Councils is organizing a parade on May 1st. May 1st, or May Day, is celebrated as International Workers’ Day around the world! This year’s SFLC parade “Leading Our Recovery Through Worker Empowerment” will be led by a Make Amazon Pay contingent.
The event gathers at Embarcadero 10 am with the march beginning at 10:30am and marching to Civic Center for a rally.
UESF is organizing a Fighting for the Schools Our Students Deserve contingent. We will be gathering at 9:30am at the fountain in the plaza, across from the ferry building. Bring your family and wear your union t-shirt! RSVP HERE
